NYSBSA Launches New Website
April 2011: NYSBSA announces the launch of the new NYSBSA website. With the express purpose of having a resource for all issues that affect schools and students in New York State, NYSBSA has commissioned Searchlight Designs to manage and implement a complete redesign and redevelopment of their website.
"With the importance of online communications taking a greater role in our everyday lives, we felt it was necessary for our association to concentrate on improving our website. We want to make sure our technology matches the needs of our members. Specifically we focused on the speed at which we can communicate news, and the ease and convenience with which our members can now receive it. In addition, a new e-commerce portion will give members the ability to register for events online - any day, any hour." said Executive Director Anthony Civitano.

Teachers Development Seminar is announced.
November 2010: NYSBSA announces the date and location of the 28th
Annual Owners, Administrators, Teachers Development Seminar. The
seminar, open to all New York cosmetology and technical schools,
will be held Sunday, April 10th, 2011 at the Hotel Pennsylvania
