Multiple Methods for Multiple Intelligences:
In this information-packed seminar, participants will learn the essential ingredients behind the most common success story in education. Based on the theory developed by Howard Gardner, attendees will understand that each student in their classrooms learns through various multiple intelligences and learns through some intelligences more readily than others. Participants will be able to identify the benefits of knowing their
student's learning styles and will be given a questionnaire to help them identify which forms of intelligence are their strongest. This same questionnaire can be taken by their students to aid the instructor in developing dynamic classroom presentations designed to reach every learner.
Seminar attendees will review detailed characteristics of each learning style, teaching tips effective for each style, and learn specific classroom activities and procedures that will benefit learners in each intelligence area. Further, the group will review specific study tips for each of eight different intelligences to help ensure every student
"gets it" in the classroom.
