Ali Davidson is Director of Membership for Associated Hair Professionals (AHP) which provides advanced education, business resources, marketing materials, career support and liability insurance to hairstylists and barbers (www.insuringstyle.com).

She is a licensed cosmetologist with experience behind the chair, managing a school salon, educating, writing for the industry and mentoring fellow professionals,.

Ali holds a bachelor's degree in marketing, but found her true passion more than a decade ago at De'Rielle Cosmetology Academy.

Making the Student Salon an Adventure

Samantha FerreiraThis fun and interactive class will prepare you to meet the needs of the industry through the success of your graduates. You will learn to assist students in developing a solid client base using referrals, rebooking clients, ticket upgrading and so much more.

Samantha Ferreira has been actively engaged in the Cosmetology field for nearly two decades. “Mrs. SAM”, as she is commonly know to her colleagues and students, has been giving back to the industry, by teaching the “MASTER EDUCATOR’S PROGRAM”and “LEADERSHIP SERIES” for student instructors at the EMPIRE BEAUY SCHOOL since 1997. Samantha is also currently the Manager/Senior Stylist of“HAIR HAVOC SALON” located in Philadelphia, PA.

Her dynamic teaching techniques are designed to engage each type of learner and transform every lesson into a great adventure.

NACCAS Standard 2 Criteria 8

If the institution requires more hours, each instructor must comply with the institution’s requirements. Continuing education completed in person or online, includes a minimum of 4 hours in teaching methodology.
